The area behind the theater will be transformed into an outdoor, picnic-style concert venue to include food trucks, cash bars, and Theatre District Alliance exhibits promoting the various businesses and cultural organizations in the neighborhood.
Nathan Williams formed the Zydeco Cha Chas back in 1985 and since then has brought his unique take on this regional southern Louisiana music to all corners of the globe. From Lincoln Center in New York to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Nathan's music has crossed all barriers to speak to the very heart of his audience.

Recent inductee into the Rhode Island Hall of Fame, James Montgomery and his band will be featuring songs from their last CD dedicated to the late Paul Butterfield, as well as playing old favorites as the band approaches its 50th year! Butterfield was a true innovator, and the band has taken some of his songs one step further. Montgomery has always modeled his live show after Butterfield and his lifelong mentor and Blues legend, James Cotton, so expect high energy blues laced with rock and just enough funk!

Drawing inspiration from music from all over the world and crossing genres of classical, jazz, and old-fashioned pop, Thomas Lauderdale founded Pink Martini in 1994 to provide more beautiful and inclusive musical soundtracks for political fundraisers for causes such as civil rights, affordable housing, the environment, libraries, public broadcasting, education, and parks.
Twenty years later, Pink Martini still tours the world, singing in 22 languages at opera houses, concert halls, film festivals, museums, and fashion shows. In 2014, Pink Martini was inducted into both the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame and the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
For over 40 years, the Temptations have prospered with an avalanche of smash hits and sold-out performances throughout the world! The band is most notable for their success with Motown Records during the '60s and '70s and has sold millions of albums, making them one of the most successful groups in music history! Beyond their unique blend of voices and flashy wardrobe, the Temptations are known for their sharp choreography known as "The Temptation Walk," which was a staple of American style, flair, flash, and class. Millions of fans saw the Temptations as cultural heroes. The group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and has had 15 number one singles and 17 number one albums. For always, the Temptations are "sunshine on a cloudy day."
The Four Tops were among a number of groups who established the Motown Sound heard around the world during the 1960s. Their first Motown hit, "Baby I Need Your Loving," made them stars. Their number one hit songs include "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)" and "It's The Same Old Song." Other top hits include "Ask the Lonely," "Shake Me, Wake Me (When It's Over)," "Something About You," "You Keep Running Away," and "7 Rooms Of Gloom." The group's popularity endured in the '70s and into the '80s with hits such as "Ain't No Woman (Like the One I've Got)" and "When She Was My Girl," making them one of the few groups to have hits in three consecutive decades. Tinariwen, a Grammy-winning band of nomadic Tuaregs from the Sahara Desert in northern Mali, brings a rebellious sensibility to entrancing desert blues. A sensational live act, they electrify traditional Tuareg melodies with edgy blues, rock, pop, Berber, and Arabic influences, producing a gritty, hypnotic sound.
