Actress and activist Kathy Najimy will star in a reading of Lauren Gunderson's new play Natural Shocks in support of the Ms. Foundation for Women's programs and grants that address domestic violence and gun violence against women.

The reading will take place April 23 at the Minetta Lane Theatre, and is presented by WP Theater and the Natural Shocks National Project.

The Natural Shocks National Project is an ambitious national campaign of theater activism with royalty-free readings of the play taking place across the country April 19-23. That timing is intentional: April 20 is the 19th anniversary of Columbine and the day of the National School Walkout, organized by the students activists in Parkland, Florida.

The Ms. Foundation for Women builds women's collective power in the United States to advance equity and justice for all.
