The Broadway superstar accidentally made Simba's final scuffle a nail-biter.

If you didn't already know Brandon Victor Dixon from his starring turns on Broadway in The Color Purple, Motown, Shuffle Along, and Hamilton, you know him now as the scene-stealing Judas of NBC's Easter Sunday concert of Jesus Christ Superstar. During rehearsals for his breakout TV moment, Dixon looked back on a near-disaster that happened during his first job in a Chicago production of The Lion King. It all turned out fine, but let's just say there was one night that the battle of Scar vs. Simba almost took a dramatic turn.
